Beat another rice burner.

So the girlfriend and i were out looking at tahoes for her and pulled up at a light next to a Lancer Evo (the turbo one) and as we sit there i can see them looking over at me and what not and they start inching up. So im like im gonna get beat but ill do it anyway cause im not one to back down from a race. So we get after it and we are neck and neck and im pulling on him. My g/f ask what level are you on. Attitude 3 ez 1. So she yells out the window to these guys "i would be ashamed if i were you", knowing that if i went up on either box it would have been worse. Ahh the fun of having this huge truck beat a factory "HOT ROD"!

there is a wagon here that has a crap load of stuff done and its runnin 12's i think. But if its a fairly stock one you will prolly get him! If not it makes them almost just as mad that our big trucks hang with them. hahahaha

what's so exciting about beating a 4banger? i don't care if its turbo or not! i'd get more pleasure taking a powerstroke or duramax, or lightning, etc, something more on my same level. my .02
to each its own.

I wooped one of those STI's runnin an 05 Ferd F350 Crew with all the Banks stuff on it, borrowed it from a guy I work with just to see what it was like. A Cummins should be able to walk all over one of those little rice tuners.

Funny thing is, the kids in the STI had a laptop hooked up to it and were tuning it as we ran, still got em though.

not to burst your bubble but an evo turbo with a decent driver would left you for dead & blown your doors off with an edge on 3 and ez on 1

especially if your truck is a manuel trans the kid probably just got his lic & learning to drive or it was an older version evo

unless your hiding mods in your sig the evo runs mid - high 13s stock very easy

with your mods and a stick you are not running high 13s sorry !

but congrats on the win, consider yourself lucky , sounds like that win was a given !

i dont know what evo you have been looking at but all the ones i have seen stock arent no where near that fast. And no it wasnt some kid, two soldiers. As for there driving seemed alright to me. As for mine being a stick doesnt really hurt so much, learned how to bang gears in a mustang! I can keep up with the shifts that automatic durmaxs with juice have. No other mods not in sig,no reason to hide what i have

i raced an automatic dmax with exhaust and juice but his was an auto and beat him pretty good! And i raced another dmax automatic with st8 pipe and bullydog and came from behind him with him all the way on it and beat him. But it wouldnt be fair to me to race one with it hooked all the way up and me with exhaust and two chips!!!
