Just got he BD short shifter and SRT shifter and **** in the truck. Huge difference! The shift pattern is better and the feel is much tighter. The up shifts are easier and quicker. Well, well worth the dinero.

When you're shifting as often as I am, the performance stuff takes a back seat at times to comfort and better shifting control. This is really a wow kind of thing in my books and really complements the performance upgrades done.

I've had mine in for 6 months now and I'm still not sure if its worth the money.Yes the throws are shorter but the notchy feel going into each gear can be a little annoying at times. The few times I've been to the strip I have to say is when I like it the best but can't say that it has cut any time off my runs, just don't seem to miss a gear as often while trying to speed row. I would try to find one on a truck and take a test drive before you buy

The SRT-10 shifter brings it closer and lower. Tried it both ways (versus stock) and the hurst addition is a winner.

Did you buy from genos, i believe the best price around is from lary, unless of course WE could find them used. But think of it if thier great nobodys selling! Im still IN, just will wait a while and see how this clutch does; when i get used to it then it'll be time for the S.Shifter. Glad to hear some good reviews, i just plan on the the S. shift part on leave the rest stock.

Lets hear whats in the works. Before i unscrewed the shifter arm i marked top center and another little mark in the direction i wanted it to move[ to the right and down] maybe 1 inch each way. Then removed it put my little mark pointing srtaight up in my 40 ton press and bent it down close to the bottom, it is great made all the diff. very comfartable spot. So good i dont know that im even concidering the S.S. anymore. Easy as it was i wished id thought of it years ago.
