Got a used 6-gun cheap.. thought I'd try it out and stack it with my predator. Question: Has anyone stacked a six gun with a downloader that "supposedly" does timing? I guess the 6-gun does timing, and the predator does timing. I just don't think the predator does that much timing.. no change in engine sound and EGTs are hot (indicating a lot of duration). I doubt the 6-gun does that much timing either.

Please.. I don't care if the 6-gun is junk.. I've seen those responses before. Just looking for people who have tried to stack it. Thanks!

 

I used to stack the six-gun with a smarty. It will stack with the Pred too. Timing is an issue, the six-gun does add a fair amount of timing with the pressure. How much for each? I don't know....

You will see an increase in power with it, but not much difference until you get to level 3, and you have to be on 4,5 or 6 to really see the difference.

 

So you ran a non-timing tune with it? If you didn't, did you hear a lot of rattle or the like?

 

I run it with Smarty on #9.......no problems

 

Another quickie.. I have the speedloader also, but I already have a pyro. I don't feel like adding another tap to the exhaust, so can I tie into the existing pyro? I called banks and they thought this would be ok. I just don't want to affect the readings on the autometer gage. Any other ideas?
Smarty #9 is timing, right? Aslo, you run all together? Rokk, smarty w/timing, and banks? Hows the truck sound?
