Bad injector?

Well i posted a question about a noise I now have since adding my guages and making a few hard test runs.
I looked around again today making sure the Pyro probe is tight and everything else is in place. While doing this (truck running) grabbed the fuel line to the injector at the front. the fule rail has a hard hammering feel to it while the others are smooh.
Is this normal or did I screw something up?

Is there a clamp on that line? Is it tight?

He's referring to a clamp like the rest of the lines have.

Let's hope it's not an injector!

Put it on a drb scanner just to be on the safe side, and keep a close eye on oil levels. I routinely check mine once weekly. You never know with all the bad fuel going around now days. After having to have 4 sets in my 03 and 2 turbos, I am very careful as to what i put in the tank.

OK I feel better, i just can't figure out what the new noise under the hood is.
It sounds like an exhaust leak but when I press the throtttle it goes away. I meant to pull the fuel pressure unit I installed yesterday to see if the noise goes away. Just ran out of time this evening.

Update::::
I drove the truck some this evening and it has a rattle kind of like an old gasser. If I get on it pretty good the rattle goes away but comes right back when cruzing. truck is back stock. It going to the dealer tomorrow for death wobble and I'm going to ask them to scan it. Injector or something else?

i had a similar sound which led me to checking everything in the engine compartment, i found one of the injector line hold down clamps was loose and the line was hammering as described above and that was making the noise. after i replaced the clamp it seems fine...i was wondering if the injector could be going out though???

Tell them to do an injector cut out test not just put it on the scanner and check the codes actually kill each cylinder and check each injector for malfunction.

I am really glad to hear there is such a test. I don't mean to steal this thread, but I have been trying for 40 minutes to post a question, and for some reason, I can't find how to do it.
For the last few thousand miles, I get a vibration whenever I apply any throttle. I feel it both in the loud pedal and the steering wheel. I also seem to be seeing much more smoke. Box off, even with fairly light throttle. Back off the pedal and no vibration. For some reason I started thinking injector. Mileage seems to be off some too. Truck has almost70K on it. I have used the box very sparingly, and rarely even floor the throttle.
Again, I apologize for horning in on this thread, and if someone can guide me to posting my own question, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks to all for help given in the past.
