I have some pics of the Toyota Tundra Dually with the 8.0 Hino Diesel. Will post as soon as I can find them.

 

That "true twins" setup is kinda strange
1-3 for one turbo, 4-6 for the other, kind of interesting.
Did they have any test numbers out yet?

 

pretty crazy twins set-up......I like homemade headers

 

Wonder if you have to cut a hole in the hood for those twins. Looks like it might be a tight squeeze.

No its not, only revs to 2600 RPM and is at this point only rated at around 300hp and 600 ftlbs. Its and ugly S.O.B to

 

Here are a few that I took. Keep in mind this is a PROTOTYPE meaning IF it is ever built it will probably look very little like this one. As far as the 2600 RPM is concerned this is just a medium duty HINO truck with molested Toyota body, it didn't even have power brakes. (the medium duty version of the 5.9 wasn't rated the same as the dodge truck version either) I'll post the definition of prototype for anyone who doesn't get it.

 

I want one!!! wheels got to go but the rest I'll take! I really hope a standard stays an option! I'm sure by production it will be cranking out 5 or 10hp more than the Big 3... Just like each of the Big 3 try to do

 

What the hell is with the shifter???? That thing is mega-cabish looking, actually the shape of the front end and grill is sorta Dodge like... Hmmm. I think I'll stick with my Cummins powered Dodge thanks!

Am I the only one who likes the new flat paint some of the show cars were using? (like the Toyota in the pics)

 

I like the Toyota. I'm on my 4th Dodge, it's time to try something new.

 

The Yota looks awesome, but come on, you guys know it will never exist looking anything like that. Maybe after one of us gets done w/ it!!
