Viper installations from what I've seen are in the $500-750 range. The money I saved I put toward potential fueling box and free-flow exhaust. Also, I use the 10sec "wait to start" delay on the Bulldog Deluxe 62I, and it works great.

I use the Viper on my 2003 Model 550 ESP....it is a remote start ---Alarm combination unit about $ 400.........one remote alarms, starts and lets you run truck when you get out on those cold days and leave it running and it will be locked.....shuts down after 15 minutes..............delay cycle on it for the engine heaters.....works great.....

Most good car alarm places will have or can order

Local stereo shop I bought it from.

Even knowing how to do it, it took them half a day to get it done.

I'd try doing a search for instructions.

Mine has a 4 button remote.
Lock, unlock, AUX and * .

You push the * twice to remote start, or remote shutdown.
Push the AUX and * at the same time to go into turbo timer shutdown mode.

Try here

I have the Ultra remote start system and the installation shop added a module that puts a delay in the starting process (eventhough the system has a built infeature to delay the start). They sort of installed it their way instead of how it was suppose to be installed. I didn't complain to much the system was only 70 bucks and the install was 125. I mainly use it for the 2 minute delay when shutting off. I could care less about the alarm features, if someone wants to steal my truck, have at it, that is why I have insurance. The truck can be replaced. I just hope if someone does steal it, they end up destroying the truck.
