Did a search but couldn't find any specific info.....so here goes ...just bought auto meter phantom trans temp gauge and was wondering will the threaded sensor fit the thread pattern of the rear bung on the mag hytec trans pan???? thanks for any and all replies

 

I hope someone has the answer, I just bought the same thing. Both say they use a 1/8" npt, so there should not be a problem.

 

James.....yes the rear port on the mag hytec is threaded the same as the sensor....just went ahead and tried and it worked ...reads temps now...all is well....also if you bought the gauge kit from geno's garage it has several adapter fittings to fit into (i assume) different drain plug ports but just the temp sensor itself fit into the rear port of the pan....

 

thanks, I did not intend to hyjack your post. Yes I did get mine from Geno's garage, just received my pillar mount today. Where did you tie onto the lighting or power circut? Thanks, Jim.
