Has anyone used the Aurora™ 2000 Turbo Charger by ATS on their 3rd generation trucks? What kind of perfomance? how do they compare with other aftermarket Turbos? The 2000 model is for under450HP. The 3000 is for over 450HP.

 

I am looking at turbo options too and would like to know more about these...including price!

 

Price is on the ATS website-- $1600...

For that money, I'm going with a B1 from Rod. Very tough.

The ATS turbo is very similar, from what I can tell to the B1.
Dont knock something you know absolutely nothing about.

The truth is NO ONE knows much about these turbos. And those who do aren't talking!

I was simply expressing MY opinion that I would favor a KNOWN turbo like the B1 over a mystery turbo. When it's MY money, MY opinion matters.

The ATS turbo is just as tough in my opinion as the B1.
I wont get into the technical side.
I do not own a truck equipped with one, but I have drove one and barked it like a mad man.
The smaller of the 2 behaves like a kwik spool B1.
I am not knocking the B1 line, but they are not the end all turbo.
