ATS tow VB
Who has the ATS tow version valve body installed on a 48 RE 305/555 or 325/600
Any idea how much its costs for installtion ? The unit is $495 on the ATS site.
Wondering if this is worth considering for towing my 5er next summer. I want
to add a VB that will prolong the life of the tranny and improve cooling, shifts
and temps from the abuse of towing in the Rockies with my truck. The Tripple lock
TQ is a little too pricey for me right now
Any feedback would really help
Thanks

I have a DTT which probably performs pretty similarly and it is definitely worth it for the increased cooling and shift quality. If you have any mechanical ability you can install it yourself. It takes a couple of hours...

I would give Bob Berends a call up in Greeley 970-356-6444 he is the installer for DTT in Colorado he is one of the best mechanics I have ever delt with and very honest to, I bet he would also be more than happy to awnser any questions you may have about your truck. Mike
