The only trucks I heard of that supposedly lost power were the ones with the Banks high ram. But then I've talked to some guys that got improved acceleration and throttle response with theirs. Still waiting on my ATS intake, called UPS should be here tomorrow. Cant wait to put it on.

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=141940 This guys got over a 1000 hp and he's still on a stocker. I'd say buy some stick on hood scoops they might give you the same amount of power. J/K

Your probably right. I forgot to mention another reason for an aftermarket intake might be turbo bark. My truck will bark, almost at will, when I rev above 2400rpms and let off the throttle to fast, especially going up hills. I've seen on other forums where this has eliminated barking for some. So I figured I'll try it to see if that the case.

Nope I have the ATS ARC flow and my turbo barks like crazy even with the slightest lift of the throttle, I dont know why but my silver62 does it WAY more than my SPS62 did. The SPS only did it if I completely lifted off the throttle, the silve does it with the slightest change in pedal pressure over 30PSI.

I have one on my truck and I don't know if it did any good or not. It still runs well and does what I want it to do. I can plum nitrous nozzles in it, put water nozzles in it, and read boost out of it. It seems to get the job done.

I installed the arc flow intake tonight. It went on easy but I had an issue with my rubber connector fitting on the end of the intake. I think it needs to be another inch longer. Has anybody else had this issue with the rubber connector?
Anyway, i got it clamped on and went home from my buddy's garage. The truck had a little more pep thru the entire power band. The engine seemed to really run smooth when I kept it wide open. Ats claims a 15 hp/30trq increase which is hard to tell just by driving. The biggest thing I noticed was an improvement in throttle response. The engine seemed to run smoother and breathe easier. When I left off the throttle the engine didn't die down as quickly as before. Hence, it didn't bark the turbo when I got on and off the throttle. But I only drove it a few miles so the verdict still out on that.
But if you are expecting a big power increase it won't happen with this mod. I basically think it lets the engine work more efficiently. With the improved throttle response their might be an improvement in fuel mileage. I can tell once I put some more miles on.
