anyone running AEM Work Horse intake?

this seems very similiar to the Brute Force and just seems like a different filter on the intatke tube.

they are running for ~ $350 so the question is ~$100 a worthy premium of a bigger filter?

I would say it is worth it. The Brute Force Filter was not big enough for diesel applications, especially trucks with other mods. There were several posts of filter minders being sucked down immediately after install.

I talked to AEM twice at SEMA events last year. They said they realized the problem and were developing an application to specifically address this issue.

$350 is still reasonable for a quality diesel intake system. You might also check out the new AFE Pro Dry system. I ordered that from Lary here at DTR and it should be here soon. Right Lary?

It also looks like it meets the fine dust testing requirement where other intakes usually only meet the course dust testing requirement.

thanks for the posts guys, seems like the work horse is a true diesel spec intake where the brute force may have been more appropriate for those hemi Ram guys....
