I have an update on wear.

I am running a 5 tire rotation, so I averaged all 5 tread depths. At last rotation I had 3707 miles on the tires, and the average depth was 15.4. (SP 18, RR 14, LR 14, RF 15, LF 16). That means I have 84% of my legal tread left. I expect the wear to decrease as they wear as that's what most tires do. As of right now I will get about 23K miles out of them. That's with towing 55% of the time, and a fair amount of that is on dirt roads.

I would like them to last longer, but honestly I am happy with it right now.

 

Wow 23k out of a set?! I have had at least 3 people tell me that if you rotate them properly you can get 40-50 thousand out of them. they need to make an AT in this size.....yesterday.

 

I only got 25K good miles out of my Toyo AT's, and I didn't tow near as often on them..

Torque is HARD on tires. MT's should last longer (with the same compound) as they have fewer biting edges to get torn up.

 

Dang 25k out of a AT? Those dirt roads eat them up.

And this what happens when they put a new guy on a vehicle. He left the wheel simulators on when he was mounting the tires. I had to go out and tell him to not tighten the lugs in a circle pattern and not to torque them in a circle pattern. Its like this on 4 spots on the simulators. They bought me all new wheel simulators from the dealership.

No measurement on mine but they have about 9000 miles so far ,70% being highway and are wearing good---one rotation so far.

 

Yeah I like them so far. Very quiet for a mud tire. Waiting for that swaying feeling to go away. Its weird felling.

 

If you are getting that swaying feeling, you may need to check your air pressure. I am running 55 in the front and rear with no sway

 

I dont what them to start rounding off. The fronts I feel are already going to round off. Im at 65 all tires

 

You need more air. I had it at first, and just aired them up some more. I now run 65/40 empty and 75/75 loaded.

I had my SRW truck at 10,500 this past weekend. 80 (Hot) in all 4 tires and it drove and handled like a dream.

I also got a bunch of dirt miles and some snow miles on them, overall very happy.. Now if the rubber was hard enough to last 80K miles I'd be overjoyed.

 

Hey guys just ordered mine 255/80/17 b/f goodrich km2s have a bully dog power pup any recommends on settings for recalibrating speedo was thinking about 32.5 would be pretty close and what about air pressure

 

Best way to calibrate the speedo is use a gps (Garmin etc..) Those thing are about dead on with the speed. Keep adjusting till your speedo matches it.
