The install instructions on Edge's site say you can have 3 power modes with a toggle switch if you just get the Juice. I really don't need the Attitude since I've had the dealer adjust the pinion factor and already have alerts for EGT's on my existing gauge.

Well, you'll be missing out on some extra power. theres 5 settings on the additude instead of the 3 with just the juice. plus you cant adjust low boost fueling without the additude. the additude will also automatically back down if your trans slips, or egt's, boost levels get out of hand and your not paying attention. Or you can set them not to back off. least you have a option. plus, you can send it out for the "hot" juice upgrade if you desire some more go.

 

Doesn't the back down for trans slip only work if the dealer has not adjusted the speedo for larger tires (which I've had done). I'm only going to use the lower levels so I'm not concerned about the defueling for EGT's and boost (it's a nice feature, don't get me wrong).

I did this for about a month. Works fine. Level 1 & 2 are okay and level 3 is more fun but it was enough to make my converter clutch slip a little under hard pedal when I stepped down to feel it pull about 50 or so. These converters are junk, mine would feel awful when trying to accellerate from a stop, just revving to over 2000 rpm's. I will be ordering my Gorend tripple next week. I put one in my 95 last year and look out! I never knew my truck could feel that good. I will always put one in whatever truck I own. And Dave at Gorend in Iowa is a super guy. With a lifetime warranty it is a very nice item!
