Well after thinking about it I never used the Bully Dog Triple Dog to change any of the "other" options, so I will have to change that to I don't know about the Triple Dog.

 

Nope, I just removed mine a few days ago, then lastnight I used the BDTD to put the high idle feature on. All I had to do was plug it into the OBDII and then turn the key forward and selct the option. Keep in mine I have no BDTD downloads right now, completely removed.

 

can you use a BDTD from an 03 on an 05? if so I wanna use cowboydaves to do the highbeam thing.

this is off topic but i cant get my high idle option to work on my 03 unless im dumb cuz at -15 my truck automatically bumps to a higher idle about 1000 rpm, but only when the outside temperature is below zero it dose this. so is that the high idle option from my bddl or should it kick it self to a high idle even if its 15+ out side?

 

Shoot boss I havent been able to do it either. I just figure it would work, untill today. Its cold out and I wanted to warm her up while I got dressed, but it didnt work. I dont know if Im missing somthing either.

 

I got the Triple Dog and enabled everything. It worked like a charm and was easy to do. And you don't have to have the program downloaded to do it.

About the high idle deal: Our trucks will automatically bump idle up to 1000rpm when the temp reaches a certain low, on my truck its around 30*. The cruise control controlled high idle, which must be enabled by the dealer, Bully Dog, etc. can be operated no matter the temperature.
