Just curious if anyone else is running the Banks exhaust brake and if they have had problems. We have one truck that likes the eat the actuator, and another one that has an appetite for the vacuum pump. I contacted Banks on the issue and they say they are looking into the problems, good news is they are giving us the parts most of the time at N/C, probably warranty. Having every truck in the fleet outfitted with their complete system helps to on that end. Open for anyone's input.

 

Got one on mt 01 and love it. 175k miles and have had to pull the can apart and clean and grease it once. Otherwise, just a squirt of wd40 into the actuator fitting every few months to keep it moving. Gotta say the original wiring connectors were substandard though. Wound up having to solder all connections with Dodge harness, then good to go.
