yeah so I load Smarty back on my truck and now when I cold start the truck the RPM's go straight to 1000-1100rpm's.....I dont really like my ice cold engine running up that high right of the bat....I would rather have it idle for a few more seconds before automatically ramping up..
anybody else seen or had this happen after Smarty was loaded???
Shane let my try his Smarty and it did not do this.(his was a s04 and mine is s06)

I have not had what you describe happen to me. But it goes there when I enable high idle. I wonder if there is a connection.

Funny you mention that. Mine did it this morning for the first time. I have had the Jr on for 3 wks now and this is the first time. I thought it very strange. I will note, that this is the first time its got around 25 degress without being plugged in.

seems hard on it...I would rather let the oil get moving for a few seconds before it does this.......
also I cant remember a single time that it did this when stock...it would ONLY ramp up after it ran for a second....usually the rpms would ramp up on their own about the time i opened the house door to go back inside..

Mine does it below about 20deg F., and only after several hours of sitting. Been that way since new.

I agree 53 ******!! thats one reason I use 5w-40 oil.

I guess I am crazy and just never noticed it stock??? I have had lots of really cold mornings this year and I dont remember it doing this stock.....I just loaded Smarty back up about a week ago and thats when I started to notice it..
I guess my next questions is to Bob and Marco.....
can we change it so that it will idle normal for a few seconds before shooting up???
