I don't have any experience with the KL71, but I have had a set of the older style Kumho MTs on my Jeep for several years. They have almost 30K road miles on them from when it was my DD, and yet I beat the CRAP out of them on the rocks offroad. I am still utterly amazed at how they have handled the abuse, and how they have worn. Mine still have over 1/2 the tread left. I have smoked them on rocks for 5 minutes straight, and churned and chunked them in the sharp stuff.

So if the KL71 is anything like the old 834 then I would buy them in a heartbeat!

I assume you meant the KL71's. They only come in 18 inch 35 or 38 or 37 38 20 inch. They are only D rated which is ok if you don't tow heavy. They are heavy 55 to 93# so they will wear the brakes a little more. Thread pattern looks exactly like BFG MT. ks

Ooops... KL71. I looked them up and didn't even notice I kept typing it that way Are you sure you didn't look up the 834? That has almost an identical tread pattern to the BFG MT, but the KL71 is different. And the BFG MT KM 2 is a limited edition tire that is UBER expensive.

I'll reiterate that Kumho makes EXCELLENT tires, at great prices.

yea i think i am going to go for them when i do my lift...the only bad thing is that tire rack says they are on backorder. I want to hurry up and do my lift, but i am waiting till i get more money saved up...its expensive! ...trying to do a 6 inch with Eagle 114s 20x10 and those tires...then doing pocket style flares...im looking at around 4,500 bucks..and i was going to paint my wheels to match the truck..why cant it just be cheaper..lol

here are some pics of the tires from other sites....they look good to me..im just worried about the life of them..
