Any one used a kelderman air ride system?
I am not sure if it's still there, but they used to have a downloadable video clip on their site. From the looks of it they duct taped a camera to the frame showing the bag's in action. They then ran it down some rough as*ed highway to show the ride. The frame never bounced once. I originally looked in to one but I chickened out when I seen the price tag

The only thing I could possibly see as an issue with the Kelderman would be weight transfer from one side to the other, say for when your cranking a tight corner with some speed or side hilling while out doing some diggin. You would think the bags would make the truck a little more tippy than the conventional spring and block set up. But then again it is a 10" lift so you're gonna be top heavy no matter what.
I kind of wanted conventional springs too but
The Kelderman is the best looking kit out threre. As far as cornering is concerned 10'in is a lot of lift for sure but
the shocks and sway bars will have a lot of influence on how flat the truck will stay while cornering. My experience with air springs is leaks in the system. I've seen this in the 1980's lincoln continentals and the 2000 and up mercedes S class that I work on at the dealer day to day. One reassuring aplication is the heavy duty
dump trucks i've seen with this system. I'd hate to go out to My truck early in the morning and see the wheel wells resting on the 40" tires. Also I'm not sure how much it would cost to get one of thre kits that would clear the 40's. What quates have you guys have gotten?
Thanks Turbo Boy

10k whoooooooohh nelly
Definatly big bucks, it had better be good for those kinda bucks. I sent Kelderman an e-mail this morning regauding a 10in lift. The prices on there web site are only for standard suspension kits not lifts. I'm not sure if I'm willing to spend 10K on the lift or not but must say that my truck would certainly look the way I want it with Kelderman.

Check that site out, seems to be the same kind of deal as the kelderman but it looks better and is cheaper from what I can tell.
Not sure if they have anything for 3rd gens just yet.
I think this is the route I will take when I get some more cash flow.

I've seen that kit on two trucks and it's more than impressive. It's down right phenomenal. One of the guys (and I can't remember his name to save my life) said he towed 10K lbs with it with no problem at all. It really is a very well thought out system. The guy said he's never had any leakage issues at all.
I've towed cross country and heavy A LOT with the full system. It was worth every penny to me. Small leaks will happen after the initial install and just take some time to track down. Once you fiddle with it a little bit it will be perfect and leak free.
