Any guages that work off of the factory probes?? Looking for something that plugs into the existing system that will give the EGT, Trans Temp. boost would be nice but if not is OK. I have seen some of the power boosters that have digital read out, but don't know if that is what I need.

 

I know boost comes off of the BUS but I know EGT does not and I'm not sure about trans temp.

Boost is the only one that is remotely possible since there isn't a factory EGT or trans sensor.

 

How does the Trans & EGT send info to the computer that regulates everything??

 

There COULD be a trans temp sender to alert when the trans is too hot, but the computer doesnt regulate EGT.

If all you want is an all in one moniter, check out the Bully Dog Outlook, or the Edge Attitude...

 

The BD-X Moniter uses the factory sender in the trans.(Yes,it gives temp. it just activates an idiot light above about 230*.)The boost comes from a boost bolt,& you have to install a pyro for ANY set up.The Outlook moniter,& Attitude use the factory databuss connector & read straight from the computer,but you will still have to install your own pyro lead to get EGT's.
