Another trans problem

Well on the way home the other day and getting onto the expressway and noticed that litterally all of the sudden I have a 2-3 flare going on. I am at a total loss as what to do at this point I have approx 25000 on "this" trans and now it is starting to act funny! The first goround I only put in the converter, valvebody, inputshaft, and flex plate. This second goround I bit the bullet(after trashing the first) and went with the alto red clutches kevlar bands new converter piston and some other part that never breaks. Well, what I would like to know is, is there a fix for this or are my just up a creek uuntil this one bites the bullet??? This whole trans thing is getting to be very expensive!! I'd like to do more to the truck but every time I get ahead it seems like I have to drop another couple grand into the trans. By the way it is an 04.5 with the 48re. Thanks for your help

I did not mean a "converter piston" its some kind of piston tho. Front hub piston?? Anyways, I'm runnin the smarty, set of 100 injectors, tst, big floor it pump, fass, cam, springs, port & polish job, water/meth, I think thats all. But, not all at the same time that this "flare" happened. It's a suncoast valvebody. I did some searching on here for trans flares and found a couple of posts but the reply was " band adjustment is "bs"" it is old school and does not work. Thanks for all of your help guys. I just DO NOT want to buy another trans.

A loose band will do the same thing.
