Another Smarty question?

After looking at so many products out their Im leaning towards the smarty, has any one towed with this unit? How does it do? What setting are you guys using on stock trucks. Im not looking at killing the truck, just alittle more juice for towing and for when I wana show up some friends. Can i just leave it on a low setting for driving/ towing. How high of a seeting for stock trucks. Any other suggestions on units. I was looking at the XZT 65hp kit for towing, but not sure if that is enough. Of course Im also looking for some smoke. Sorry for all the questions, I just need some help making my decision. By the way, the truck is all stock except for a k&n kit.

OK dude, the Smarty is a programmer made for people looking for a lot of power. If you plan on keeping it stock, plan on #1 for towing and 3 for speed. Anything else will hurt you truck. It does make a LOT of smoke though. So it just depends, do you just want a little more safe power (XTZ), or do you want to buy a new trans, fuel system, and a $700 programmer?

I havent towed with mine yet, but the bottom end / mid range is hugely improved....(I've only used level 1 and 3)....so I would imagine it's awsome for towing....egt's are nice and low....on level 3, held wot for 0-100....didnt go past 1200 egt....i've only had it for less than a week, but i'll say that the smarty is awsome.....except it makes me want a DTT tranny to use the higher levels! I dont see how the xzt can compete.

I went from an XZT to a Smarty. The Smarty on 3 does have excellent throttle response and bottom end. I think The XZT pulls harder from the middle to upper RMP range though.
Pretty sure that from 0-100 the XZT would take the cake over my Smarty on level 3... not really what I had hoped
