I called Peter he suggested the OFE for my application, works great. Get the hydraulics, you'll need it.

The hydros are a good idea but with with the NV, its not as curtial as with the G56, unless you are getting a dual disk.

Peter from SB told me not to dump it and to leave in 2nd. i was just wanting to know what everyone else is doing and how it is holding up.

Ok, so how hard are these to install? i have changed out tranny's before in my old K5 Blazer but never messed with a clutch. i have a buddy that has a lift so that will make it a little better. Or should i just spend the extra $400 and get it installed and have the flywheel turned.

I think you get rid of your dual mass flywheel and put in a new one from SB...

I didnt think the NV trannys had DMFs?

It takes some labor but not much more than pullin the trans, and it is not technical at all. If you got some basic hand tools and a lil mechanical ability put it in yourself, heck for another 400 bucks you just about got a DD.

Nvs don't have the DMF. When you get it installed, make sure to get the flywheel turned. it will be worth it. the install from what I've seen isn't bad at all, just alot of weight!!!
