amsoil bypass

For you guys running this, what does the oil look like? Is it like the oil photos in the ad for the FS2500? FS2500 is expensive.

How much did it cost for the complete kit?

Thanx.

My oil does not look like the FS2500 oil, but my oil analysis show very low soot levels, so the "look" is really over-rated IMO. I pieced my amsoil kit together with just the single filter mount (BK203) and the billet oil filler cap (BK1301) and made my own stainless braided lines. With the filter I am into my setup for less than $200. Find a dealer that will give you a discount or sign up for a preferred membership and save some money.

Don't let the fancy marketing video of the FS2500 suck you in. I'm not saying that it's not a good bypass, because I'm sure it's fine. Just so you know, the FS-2500 replacement element is nothing more than an oversized roll of TP. If you want a TP filter why not buy a Motor Guard or a Frantz for a heckuva lot less, plus the cost of Scott 1000 TP is a lot cheaper than the FS-2500 element.

Amsoil's BMK-11 bypass filter is also another good option. Here is a link to some bypass filter reading.

Also, the color of oil has ZERO to do with how clean it is.

I am seriously looking at the Amsoil Bypass BMK-11 kit.
I have emailed FS2500 2 times and have not ever received a reply. To me that is terrible customer service.

Thanx guys. I got the FS2500 package a few weeks later after requesting info online. It looks great, but the price was $475. If that was in my comfort zone of extra cash, I would get it. But I need other options.
Thanx.
