Put on the Quad monster intake air filter and box, then the AirRaid modular intake tube(replaces the silencer portion of the factory intake tubing) broke out the baffles in the lower elbow, and WOW that turbo is loud. Getting funny looks from other drivers.

Egts are down when towing, dont have to back off the quad race as much anymore.

Spool is way quicker

AND the sound just drives my wife up the wall, the kids love it of course.

bought the afe torque tube, now comes in flimsy plastic, doesnt fit the quad filter assembly, looks too cheap for $90, sent it back. Got that AIrraid piece from Summit for $54, fit is great.

 

What is that AirRaid peice called? I looke on Summit's website and couldnt find it, but I am interested. Never seen or heard of it before. So you are happy with the Quad Intake, Ive been thinking about either the Quad or AFE. Thanks.

yes, that is the part. it replaces the baffle assembly in the factory intake system. the baffle is the 5" diameter by about 10" long. the airraid piece replaces it, held in with hose clamps. takes about 5 minutes if you have to look for a screwdriver.


the quad intake is great, i put on the outer wears. bought both quad pieces from DTR store.
