make sure you fill the filter and water sep. it will prime it and you will be good to go.

Pump loud? Check for air leaks, if you installed a 150 with the drawstraw look for any signs of leaking around there and the return too.

I didn't manually prime mine and it worked. I took out the relay and crossed the 30 and 87 (I think...look on schematic on relay to get numbers) to manually run pump. This worked first shot.

Is the suction quick connect on tank ok? Did you install new draw straw? Sounds like you are getting air into suction side as like I said I didn't prime mine and she pulled / filled everything with no problem and started up first try after running pump 15 seconds or so to prime system. (you can remove filler cap and listen for return fuel flowing to confirm if you manually cross 30 and 87 terminals)

I had the same problem when I first installed my 150. What I ended up doing was fill both filters, manually turn on pump, then I crawled under and unscrewed the water sep about half way and when I screwed it back on there was a downpour of diesel at the CP3. Then I hooked up the CP3 and haven't had a problem since.
