Airdog 150 Question

with only the mods in my sig i wont need all the extra fuel from the 150 yet, so will it just be returned to the tank or will it increase the pressure higher than it should be for my mods? i dont want to have exsessive pressure damage anything and im not very familiar w/ how these systems work.

btw, i dont have a fuel pressure gauge yet.

you will be ok. 53Willys is set up similar to what you have now and he is running a 150. you can lower the psi with the regulator until you get more mods but i am sure you won't hurt anything if you leave it stock PSI either.

I think 53Willys is @ 16psi? I might be getting him confused with another customer that bought the airdog100. I am sure Mark will chime in here soon.

The 150 and 100 operate at the same pressure right out of the box, both run between 16-18 psi. The only way to adjust the pressure is to add or subtract regulator spring shims in the unit housing, not hard to do at all.

I installed the A/D 100, plummed it through the factory ff housing and my GDP 2 micron ff set up, I still had 18 psi at Idle at the cps and 16 psi at wot with my quad xzt hooked up. I have since removed the 2 micron ff and the Quad xzt. The Quad is going back to Quad so I can take advantage of their upgrade program.

The pressure the pumps run at will NOT hurt anything on a stock truck, my personal opinion is to leave it alone.
