Airdog 100 or 150???

Hey guys I am starting to order some parts for the truck and right now I am stuck in trying to decide which one of the Airdog setups. I have read a little bit about them and have heard nothing but great things about them, and the price is pretty hard to beat. So my question is, would I be alright with just getting the 100 or should I go ahead and just get the 150? I have read the 150 is really not needed unless I am looking to push past the 550HP mark. Not saying that I never would like to but for the time being all I plan on adding is some 90HP injectors, stage 2 CP3 and a Smarty Sr. I dont plan on upgrading the turbo yet unless it is absolutely necessary. I am trying to stick with more of a reliable daily driver that still has alot of good power. Eventually the bug might get me and a bigger turbo might be added but for now I dont want to touch those waters unless absolutely needed.

So what do you guys recommend? Should I just stick with the 100 or should I just go ahead and get the 150 and be set for the future if I decide to go further into it.

Thanks!
Kyle

I'm going for the AD100 connected to a Libery canister in the tank so I don't need to modify my existing canister or cut anymore holes in the tank. (plus I can pop the original canister back in if I ever wanyt to return to stock)
I just don't trust those 0-rings on the new draw straws not to leak, especially if you've done the vent mod so the fuel in the tank will be higher than the level of the canister and/or draw straw.
I'd like to get over 500 HP one day, that's all the poer I'll ever need, the 100 is good enough for me and my FP gauge will let me know if I'm not getting enough fuel.

sounds like the AD100 will be fine for what you want...just be honest with yourself on a HP goal and you should be fine.

I know you already know this Will but for those who dont...my orings/grommets dont leak and I have the vent kit...I did have one leak but thats because I had it mounted in the fuel canister and I drilled the hole to big...I have fixed it since then.... and have Zero leaks
what I am trying to say is those grommets work great!! you just have to install them correctly. no need to worry about leaks even more if you mount the grommets in the fuel tank like they are supposed to be.

Mark know his stuff for sure, he's been a big help to myself and tons of people on here...
... BIMHO, grommets are meant to protect wires, not seal any kinda liquid, I just don't trust them for that...

.... but that's just me I spose cuz I'm kinda **** ...

What are the reasons not to get the bigger pump? Why would you get a 100 vs. a 150?

Sorry to hijack the thread. It's just something I don't quite understand.

There's a restriction at the top of the Liberty canister that would limit the amount the 150 could draw but is okay for the 100, and I won't be cranking out the BIG HP numbers the 150 supports.

If I was going with the new draw straw I'd use the 150 for sure, especially since it costs the same as the 100 at most places.
