Air Dog
Air Dog
I looking at buying an airdog 150 and i have a ? about it. When you put the kit on do you take off your factory fuel filter or leave it on? I taked to a guy at pure flow and he said that you need to take it off because the pump hasd 2 filters on it and there is no need for a third filter.
Some people take it off, others do not. But with the airdog you would just bypass the stock filter right to the cp3. I personally left mine on in case I need to use the factory lift pump.
so when you bypass the factor filter than youcan leave your factor fuel line on and just take the factory lift pump out of the tank. if i do take off the factory filter will any check engine lights comew on?
You can leave everything in place besides the in tank pump.. The Airdog will plug into the factory plugs from the engine and therefore cycle the same as the stock pump would. You should have no CELs. The only thing i think you lose is the WIF (water in fuel) light which the airdog takes care of. It is a good kit.
