I'm gonna have to check them myself, and decide from there.
Thanks guys.

I found the hard way as well that apparently our trucks are not designed to travel on gravel roads??!? At 36,000km my rear caliper pin boots were torn up. This is completely unaceptable, the caliper guards should be installed at the factory.
Carl
I have a house on a gravel road also (cant talk the guys at the end of the street to pay their half of the asphalt) where can I get these guards from and are they nothing more than a little bracket with a metal cover to keep tha stones out? If so I guess I could make a set I've got some thin stainless lying around and a brake. Maybe I'll go look at it.
i have always bought mine at the dealership but dont think they are a dodge part..they just bring them in, they look like a c- shape with perhaps an 1 1/2 inch lip protruding to protect the caliper they mount in front of the caliper using the caliper bolts and existing holes and are made from quite heavy steel but anyone who has access to a bit of fabricating equipment would only have to look at a set and be able to make them up in an hour or so ..i think the reason they are built as heavy as they are is that if you got into some heavy clay mud anything lighter would likley crumple..but they really do the job
Just reading the name Eastside made me cringe and I had a flash back.
thanks. LOL
Does Varsity own Crowfoot still?
I have over 80K on my brakes, I will get them checked this week...at a brake shop I trust here. I was also told the MOPAR pads are a good bang for the buck.
A Canuck buck.
