I believe it does. Are you think'n about just adding the tube? If so, Why? I can tell ya how to get the same benefits for about $10 bucks.

Go down an pick ya up a piece of 5.5in aluminum pipe, 5'in will work. The 5.5 just fits better. Remove the plastic center/baffle section. Cut the aluminum tube the same size. Make sure you clean it before re-assembly. Then clamp it place of were the plastic tube was. You can polish the tube or paint it, I painted mine. That's it, your done. At the lower elbow there are air guides in there. You can remove them if ya want, I did. And this is what you get.

It's cheaper and I think looks nicer then the $90.00 AFE tube.

That's cool!
So by saving $90 w/o buying torque tube, what do the remaining parts (isolation box and filter-anything else) cost?
Do you reinstall the air sensor thingy?
I sure need a intake but also the better intakes seem to cost a lot for what you get.

I bought the AFE Stage I with the new Pro Dry 'S' and then made the tube. Saved lots of money. I've had AFE on my last 3 vehicle have not been disappointed. Yes, AFE is more expensive then the other kits, but I feel it's worth the extra $$$. The way I look @ it, so what I had to save an extra month to get what I wanted and what I feel is the best filter out there.

Just picked up an AIRAID MIT too. I did notice a difference in the sound of the turbo. I can hear it sing to me now. Hope to get an AFE Stage I soon. Not sure if it realy helps or not but I did get a good deal on it.
