AFE confusion
Man, I know how you feel. I read and read and got on web sites asked the good fellas on here till I was dizzy tryin to pick an air intake setup.. I finally went with the AEM Workhorse (now they call it the brute force HD for Diesels and big blocks.) I orded it Tues. Nite real late, and it came today and I put it on. Love that turbo whiste. Sorry I don't know answer to your question and I am not trying to talk you into an AEM, I like the AFE too, just didn't know which one and got sick of thinking about it. I am satisfied. Good luck, someone will chime in and help you out.
I would also like to know what the difference is. Also where is the best place to order one from? I have been looking at the stage 2 with pro guard 7 filter but the pricing is all over the place anywhere from $400 to $495.
Thanks
And sorry man didn't mean to thread jack..

If you look and read on their website, it basically boils down the actual filter type and size.
Some use a smaller oiled filter, some are a larger oiled filter, and some use a dry-flow style filter.
Pretty simple actually.........
