The Nittos perform real well in the rain. According to the website, they've put all the right siping in all the right places. Of course, they're gonna tell you that, but, I haven't hydroplaned once. And we had a couple mean torrential down pours recently that I got hung up in. No problems what so ever. They do pretty well in the snow and ok in mud. Of course, a M/T would do way better in both, but for an A/T I'd say they do really well. I like the Nittos a lot. I think they're a real good all around tire.

I run my XAT's in the winter and I think the are great. as far as mud goes, I cant say, but I would assume better than terra grapplers judging by the tread pattern.

I see in your profile you have summer and winter tires. What are those Winter tires on the stock rims? type and size?

Edit: I see from above you are running the Xa/t - what size? are those the 305/70?

I had nittos ( 325/60r18 on 18x10 ) on my last truck ( 04 sierra 2500hd crew 4x4 ) and I drive like a bat out of hell, I can tell you the TGs were magical in the rain, it was like driving on dry pavement, worked really really well for me to in the snow on my snowboarding trips also. in the mud they were garbage but i expected that.
