Ok well here's the deal. I have a 6" BDS suspension kit with 37" Yokohoma Geolanders. I'm happy with the lift and everything but I seem to want a little bit bigger. I'm looking at a 3" Performance Accessories lift for the truck as well.
My only concern is will the body lift and suspension lift look funny with 37" tires. Just looking to see if anyone has any pictures of 6" suspension and 3" body lift that they could show me before I bite the bullet.

Bumpers would be relocated too of course. I just want to see some pictures but thank you for you opinion. I've seen a couple that don't look too bad. I saw a second gen with 9 inches on 37's that looked good to me.

still not a fan... ive seen pictures of jeeps with bodylifts, rear-ending cars and the bolts holding the cab/body to the chassis snap and the body goes flying off the chassis. plus if you wheel or take it off road you get mud and whatever else caked and packed in between the boddy and the frame and it starts to look like crap and rust the frame if not cleaned off. stick with suspension, if it was a 1" body lift then yea id maybe say go with it. but anything over 1" or 1.5" is rediculous..

There is always someone with the horror story involving some idiot who must have fabbed up his 10" body lift with .25" diameter bolts and the body flying off the frame in a collision. We're talking about Performance Accessories.
I had a buddy here in NC who had a 1980 something Ford Bronco with a performance accessories body lift. He was Tboned passenger side in an intersection by a red light running Chevy 2500 pickup crushing the passenger side compartment all the way to the frame and bending the frame slightly It flipped 2 and a half times and I think even slammed into another car before coming to a stop. The body never "FLEW" off the frame and or even partially separated. Luckily, he wasn't hurt too bad.
I have issued this challenge a hundred times, show me a failed Performance Accessories body lift with body-frame separation??????????????????

I wasn't trying to bash you. The starter of this post was the one who mentioned the PA body lift.
Got a question for you though because I truly am curious. What happended to the steering column and shifter linkages going to the tranny in the pictures you saw of the wrecked jeeps? Did the engine go throught the center console any?
I imagine with the front frame rails collapsing and the body going forward that the steering shaft could only collapse so far and maybe ended up going through the driver?

Nice looking rig. But from what I've seen throughout the years with body lifts. They expose more frame and unless it's painted, looks like
and on a Cheby that has quite a bit of frame exposed to begin with, well...... They create a larger gap between the body and frame in the wheel wells, filler panels would be needed there to help hide the gap too. I'm just basing my opinion from what I've seen on the road. I'm sure there are some that look OK if done right. Your pic looks like a nice truck, do you have a pic from the side with sunlight shining on the frame, I'd like to see the frame exposure if there is any. Thanks. On a side note, body lifts do have some great positives also. They are cheap $ first off. And a truck with a 9" lift made up of 6" suspension and 3" body will have a lower center of gravity than a truck with 9" all in the suspension.

people ask me all the time how much lift and when i tell them 6" suspension and 3" body, they freak. They have NEVER seen a body lift that looks this good and they can't tell unless they crawl under the truck.
Have NEVER had a problem with it offroad, in the mud or anything. I do clean it up pretty good after I am done.
