807HP Charcoal Fest
Finally got the new setup put together and put down some serious numbers on #2 only. I did multiple dyno runs to try my best to back up what the truck was really putting down, I did runs on both the Super Flow and Dyno Jet programming just to get a comparison of the two.
I ran 763HP and 1444lbs corrected at 6000ft elevation. The uncorrected numbers were 734HP and 1388lbs on the Super Flow.
The Dyno Jet reading was 807HP and 1527lbs corrected.
Can't wait to get some numbers outside of the clouds here in Colorado and get back to some good air and get some stronger uncorrected numbers!!
I must say that the thing is a beast, not controlable on the street when the boost comes up, don't know if I'll be able to lay a load for a week with the pucker factor the truck produced @ 65psi of boost!!!!
Here's a some of the things that I changed from last time:
Twin CP3's, Nasty F1 injectors, Head studs, A5000 (Thanks Nobody), Bullydog downloader, Small pressure box & Glacier Diesel fuel system.
A big special thanks go out, to everyone that made this happen.
Dusty Hawk at HTS for putting the monster power to the ground!
Tim Barber (Timinva) for comming through on the monster set of F1 injectors and providing some unreal customer service and tech support, truck wouldn't be here if it wasn't for this guy.
Richard Martin at GDP (Glacier Diesel) for providing the fuel and awesome tech support to make the big power.
Don Morrison (DonM) at F1 Diesel for engineering & testing the most unbelieveable set of common rail injectors on the planet. These puppies make face stretching power and as an added bonus, some true P-Pump style smoke at will , while still being streetable.
And last but not least my boy at Triple D's race shop for helping put everything together with his vast attention to detail in making everything right on the money .
Here's a little bit of eye candy for ya'll to check out, I'll post the dyno graph's when I can get it scanned into the computer.
Hope to see ya'll at some events this year!!!
-James-
P.S. Still plenty more to come. (Head work, F1 Cam, Triple D's custom 2 stage nitrous system & custom chassis and suspension work)
