600 getting 20 MPG???
I got my ramifier installed this weekend and I am totally amazed. My overhead went from 13.5 to 20.1 mpg. Hand calculated was about 13.8 before so it is pretty accurate. I only have about 90 miles on the truck from my last fillup. This truck feels like a rocket ship now, it just sounds so sweet at 41 psi of boost. But anyways has anyone else seen this kind of jump in mileage or is the increased pressure messing with the overhead.

Hate to burst your bubble but it's probably not accurate anymore. My truck with the EZ box tells me I have a 2 mph increase when in fact it has a 2 mpg decrease which = 4 mph off.......

Just as an update, I am nowhere near 20 mpg. Hand calculated 13.88 when the overhead said 19.5. I guess these boxes fool the overhead into thinking you are getting good mileage. I am sending the Ramifier back because it makes my converter clutch slip under WOT and has a miss at 2300 rpm. I think I am going to put my bucks towards a suncoast tranny and converter. It was fun while it lasted but I don't want to smoke the tranny.

Dave yeah the computer is stupid. I believe it takes speed, RPM and throttle position to calculate MPG, and therefore when you add a box it requires less throttle depression and it throws it off.
The REAL MPG measurement that Cummins uses with their ECM is by fuel flow rate, which Dodge decided not to interface with and utilize with their system. Actually that was on the last truck, I thin the ECMs are now 100% Dodge

Interesting. Are you saying with the '03 and early '04 trucks with the hybrid Dodge / Cummins ECM system may actually use true flow rates and therefore still be accurate with aftermarket add ons whereas the new '04.5 trucks that use and all Dodge ECM won't?
Maybe that explains the discrepencies in what has been reported.
