AIR BUMPS?! Who are you, Snoop Dogg?!

My new crossover steering is being done tomorrow, then shipped and I'll have it next week. Then Don Hung and I are working on a new long arm setup. I am going to get some King 2.5's from him as well.

To me, putting on a 6 inch spring spacer is like putting on a 6 inch body lift. They are both okay in moderation but there is a point where they are too tall and create too much leverage on the bolts that hold them in place.

Here is 6 inches worth of spacers.
I know what you are saying. I won't argue it. I even agree to a certain extent. I thougt I would have bought springs by now personally. I just go the lift so cheap I did not care. I just have not had the issue yet and have actaully been on the dunes, on the beach, in the mud a couple times.

so when I post in I am only saying it is not as bad as people make it out. I honestly though it would be a problem the first time I hit it very hard.

If I were really truely concered about strenght though, like you guy's say you are. I have not seen one lift that I though was just awesome that lifted 6". I have seen parts to make a sweet lift though. some of them are posted in eairler.

i had the 6" tuff lift and it was okay, but the thought of a 6" spacer and stock CA mounts is scary. with DJ's help i'm finishing up a 10" long arm kit. anyhow, 37's worked great with the 6" lift and 3.73's or whatever i have thats close to that. when its all said and done tho, springs and coils are way better and safer than blocks and spacers. but hell, i'm still trying to get my longarm setup finished. i run the 37x13.50 toyo mt's on stock rims and they work great. look in my gallery. rubs the CA a tiny but, but not enough to worry about. 15k on the toyos and they are halfway done.

Lift

Thanks Rokkitboy. Nice truck!! That is exactly what I was looking for in the tires and rims. I have the same rims and I was thinking about the Toyo's and I believe that Is what I am going to go with. I like the looks of the tire and sounds like everyone is getting good miledge out of them. Thanks Shane

toyo m/t for sure

Toyo M/T is the only way to go. I fight fires for the blm and we put trucks and tires to the test. Nothin but rough dirt roads. The toyo m/t is the only tire I've seen actually last a whole season. They're quiet, will get you through anything and last a long time. Well worth the price.
