You won't need the 2" spacer at all, toss it in the garage somewhere.

I put a 6" lift w/ 37x12.50x17"s on my fathers truck. Never rubbs and it dosen't look "stuffed" at all it actually looks realy clean.

What company are you going with?

Make sure to show us some pictures.

You can use the spacer, but you will have to make sure the pitman arm drops enough, your control arms are long enough, and your track bar is at the correct angle. Then, you'll just have to worry about your *** sagging.

I was gonna stay away from this thread, but a 6" lifit is more than enough for 37s.

I have seen to many trucks with more lift than wheel, IMHO.

you could get away with less lift to run a 37, depends what you are looking for.

(why cant I stay away from these suspension threads?)

How are you lifting the rear? We have done trucks using a 6" lift and adding a 2" leveling spacer, for the rears we use new leaf springs or blocks with an add a leaf spring. As for 37's we only had to use the 2" extra lift to clear the rims which had a 5" or less back spacing. If your using a rim with a similar back spacing to the stocks you won't need the extra 2" on lift.

Good points, but the most important thing here is the front driveshaft. Either remove it or install manual locking hubs. You are going to have driveshaft vibrations from hell if you put 2 inch spacers on top of a 6 inch kit.

i know the 37s will fit with a 4" but i just like the look of more lift i wanted a 10" with 37s but am not paying another 1000 for 4 more inches

il never use the 4wd so i can pull the front driveshaft

and as for the rear i was hoping to buy some lift springs to maybe make it ride softer cause the 1 ton springs are to stiff and i dont haul anything

Then buy a 1/2 ton pickup. If you want a soft ride, a heavy duty truck is not the way to go. Oops, too late.

sorry but thats funny. Why would you want 4" more lift than you need? You like "show trucks" that have never seen off road right?

If you wanted a lift over six inches you have to mess with the front driveshaft. You said you don't need 4 wheel drive so that isn't a problem. If you have never had a truck with a lift before you will hate life with a huge lift. say buy buy to drive through atm's, food, banks. Parking will be much more difficult. You won't be able to see small cars. and forget going over 70 ever. Handling is gone. Plus you will need $1200 electric steps to get in. Or cheap non electric, but they will have to drop a lot and they look kinda funny.

If you want a truck you can drive everyday and still have 37's you are going to want to go with a 6" lift and no bigger. Unless you just want a truck that "looks good" I'm not trying to start a war but if you wanted a lift that big you should have bought a pre 04' Super Duty. Lots cheaper to lift.

If you can get them go w/ the Toyo MT's. I ran the Pro Comps for a while, they were a good tire but im more fond of Toyo's. It's realy all personal preferance, what you can afford and if you can get the Toyo's. I've ran about 10k miles on my set and love them so far no qualms at all.

Definitely the Pro Comps... they'll go perfectly with your street queen. Why waste a good set of tires on something that is going to suck?

Maybe I should be nice... I'll buy your transfer case from you since you don't need it.

Honestly, if you are content with the 6" and just wanted a little more with a 2" spacer, you would have more headaches than you want. Plus the front would be taller than the back. I personally don't like that but thats me. If your happy stay with what you have.
