fits fine without cat, should fit with cat i think, your tailpipe goes straight into muff without all the elbows, or offset from factory muff.

Can you move the CAT forward at all? You should be able to use a 40" Donaldson as the CAT also acts as kind of a resonator (if your worried about drone).

Last Friday I had a 51" Nelson installed on my truck. They didn't mess with the cat except comment about how big is was. Best upgrade I have made to my truck.

Take your truck to another experienced muffler shop and they should be able to do it. The guy you talked to probably didn't have the experience. Talk around and find out who can do it.

thanks RonsRig,,,,,,,,,,,,just had it to another muffler shop,,they didn"t want to do it either,,,looks to me that if the mid pipe is turned so the offset is correct the cat will hit the frame,,only a couple inchs of clearence.
I'll keep trying

Mine went on fine, but they did have to angle it down in the front in order to line everything up.

What kind of drop can I expect to see in EGT'S with the 51", and not sound like a dump truck
