5" Muff/Resonator...
I need to kill some drone bad in my new exhaust/twins setup.

Kinda think this may be the ticket. I did call my local Kenworth dealer to see what he had laying around...and a 30" 5" in and out straight louver design was $160!!!!!!!!!!!! Yuck. I think I paid $70 for a 40" 4" in/out. WTH?
Think the 10" of length could do it. 3-6 dba is a good drop.

go out and see Randy at Peterbilt and tell him you want a 24" long piece. had one on my Peterbilt and also have one on this truck. works great.

I would go with a Donaldson muffler. I have one on my 5" and love it. I would be careful that the resonator doesn't kill HP or torque.

No muffler at all right now...just straigh 5" pipe from my S-400 to the rear tire...with a 24" 6" tip.
I just want to knock the edge off a little. There is a 10 " long 5" in/out straight through resonator that says its good for 3-6 dba. That sounds like it would do it.
