I am currently shopping for a Exhaust system for my Truck, I am wondering what the benefits will be if any with a 5" dual exhaust system. wouldn't i get the same benefits from a 5" single exhaust,

On my 05 I had a 5" turbo back into 4" duals and the only thing I liked was I could blow smoke out both sides . There isn't any performance over duals compared to single.. I don't think you can fit 5" duals without removing the spare tire.. The kit I had with 4" said I might have to remove the spare. I would just do a 5" single... That's what I am going to do with a Big A$$ Tip..

single 5" will yield better peformance than dual 4", and your spare has a chance of fitting

 

in your Gallery you have Pics of a 5" kit? Looks like your Spare fits fine in the other pics....or are my eyes tired....

 

ohhh my eyes are tired those are two differant trucks,

 

It is a 5" kit to the muffler then it duals into 4" pipes..

 

I have 4" duals and 5" would fit but it would be TIGHT.
