Hello there. I just ordered a 5" to a 4" dual exhaust system from one of our vendors here (farmboydiesel.com) and it just showed up in the mail. System looks awesome!! I have got to say the 5" is huge!! I am going to be installing it first thing in the morning!! We are just waiting on tips!!

I have a few questions though. Should I keep the Kit-Kat or just plain ditch it! I have been thinking of keeping it and just gutting it while I am in the process or dis-assembling the old and putting the new on!! I have pic's awaiting approval of the system on the ground and I will take plenty of pics of the install.

Has anyone had their warranty denied because of a missing cat???

If your thinking about gutting it, just ditch it. Gutting is a PITA. If you got a full turbo back system just leave it out. Also I don't think they could hassle ya much at the dealership b/c some Cummins trucks came stock w/o cats.

It's a kit that Gus At farmboydiesel.com put together. Everything fits really well so far I will know more in the morning.

 

Install was easy!! Took about 3 hours and 1 hour of screwing off!! Sound is awesome when ideling!! AT WOT it isn't much louder than stock. No drone yet, I don't know about towing I will know more on Monday. Still haven't recieved my tips yet but once I do I will be installing them and adding more pics.
