37x12.5 or metric equivalent in Load Range E?
Not having much luck yet, still looking. Doesn't need to be a 17", since I will be getting new wheels too. Could be 17/18/19/20...whatever combination works.
I don't necessarily need a 37x12.5, the metric equivalent will work too. I don't think I really want to go much wider than 12.5" on a 3" lift.
What have you guys found? Thanks.

Procomp's website lists the 37x13.50x20 in an E rated tire.
Really need 4.10s for 37's though IMO. And around a 6 inch lift for them to look right.... IMO.

I have heard mixed things about the 3.73 vs 4.10. 6" lift is going to be $4K to do 'right' it seems.
Still reading about it all. If I need to stick with 35" I will.

Yeah, mixed opinions my ****. Mall cruiser with 3.73 and 37's = barely ok. Towing with 3.73's and 37's = pretty much impossible unless you want to do like 75 the whole time... Good luck with that, because you won't be able to keep it in the proper rpm range to not bog the motor.
Even not towing I think the rpms will be weird.
3.73's and 35's is almost too much, barely able to tow with them and you have to really watch the rpms to keep it in the right range. Major PITA in hilly areas.

And I'm not an expert on 6 inch lifts but can't you get one of the lifts from the name brand guys that use spring spacers, then use their components, then use a set of springs from like thuren. I'd also use some shackles and smaller blocks in the rear to avoid wheelhop.
Do you really need longarms?

Long arms will be a bit more useful with a 6 inch lift which for some reason I though tthat was why the price you are quoting is so high, sorry about the misunderstanding .

This one is like 1000 bucks. I think I've seen them without springs for a few hundred less. But it looks like it has all the parts you need to properly lift it.
Also, towing rpms for me is 1650+, generally 1650-2200 depending on the terrain. Go below that and it will bog.
That is towing a real trailer, not an ATV trailer.

I'd find a kit like that with no springs (maybe a gasser kit is the one without springs??) and no shocks, use the nicer springs from thuren, carli, lorenz, etc. And get Bilstein shocks and stabilizer.
Those 3 guys make good stuff but after you get over 3 inches I don't think there is much performance to be gained by going high end, just make it functional and safe IMO. All those parts from the big name guys like the pitman arms and stuff are good enough.
Topgunz also makes all those parts if you want to piece it together. Just a thought.

I'd get the soft ride springs and long travel airbags if you need them afterward.

If you want 37's you'll probably have to tow out of overdrive unless you are going like 70+ mph. And 37's look better with bigger rims .

Yeah 6 inch for 37's and the right backspacing to make it look right.
I think the lift costs are pretty similar. I think most people (like me) only go with the smaller lifts because they are work trucks, like I get in and out of my bed everyday multiple times a day sometimes and tow heavy sometimes so I don't want to be way up in the air..
And yes I'd do a bigger wheel with that much tire. 20's
I dig the smaller wheels but at some point in large tire size you need a bigger wheel. Probably would handle better too by cutting down on the balloon affect!
