315 Spare - Diff Covers ?

Is anyone running the PML or Mag-Hytec diff covers with a 315 spare ? I am curious if there is enough clearance ? Anyone ?

PML with 315. No rubbing noted yet.

EDIT

While doing my 15k diff fluid change, I noticed a scuff about 1/3rd of the way down from the top where the tire has been rubbing. No damage, but it is tighter than I remembered it. I guess I will have to be demoted from junior member to? for giving inaccurate info. Sorry folks.

I don't have either, but here is a picture with 315 spare under my truck. I don't think there would be any problem.

I just put a H2 wheel with it's 315 on as my spare last week & I have a PML cover. There is no way it will clear with the lift bracket in it's normal centered position. I have a long bed, I don't know if it is better or even worse on a short bed.

I ended up padding the lift bracket so I could push it forward on the wheel and not damage it where it contacts the wheel. This helps give it some clearance but still looks like a problem. I also seem to have an issue with the spare tire winch jumping a tooth or something when I try to tighten it up.

It looks to me like the best solution would be to build something that attaches to the wheel to change the lifting center even further forward to get the tire to sit as far back as possible. I'll have to look more into what can be done to fix this.

Anyone else notice the winch feels like it is jumping a tooth when trying to tighten in the lifted position?

Kris

Front Diff ?

I just got a email from Mag-Hytec, they say they will be bringing out the front cover in less than 3 months. I think it will be Mag-hytec, a little more money but a very good quality product.
