3" lift and control arms?
3" lift and control arms?
im going to be putting in a 3" coil spacer drop pitman arm and track bar drop bracket. the truck will have 35"s. do i need to change my control arms or will the stock ones work. i i know on stock rims ill rub the control arms but it doesnt bother. any 1 else have this setup and know if there are any down falls to it. thanks
3" lift + 35" Toyos + stock everything else = good rub
Above plus 1/4" spacers = better but still rubbed
Above plus Thuren adjustable track bar = almost gone
Above plus mud flaps + 35" ProComp Extreme AT's = Good rub on L wheel well / flap
Above plus Carli (1/2" longer) control arms = Good to go - zero rub
Long way to go but I got there.
All along it did bother me a little but I could drive around it. What really bothered me was I knew my wife would just keep crankin and rub until she got where she wanted to go.
Gave me shivers every time she took the truck,....
