Lower or Upper Control Arms for 2" Lift

So I'm going to be lifting the truck 2". I realize you can do the lift with nothing else but spacers. My question is whether it would be better to replace the control arms as well. For a better ride/handling, less wear on parts, etc... Would I need lower, upper, or both? Thanks...

As long as your bushings are good, you won't need either.

I agree with cowhand, he knows suspension.

But if you want to replace them, Rancho has a leveling kit that includes them.

I really like DT's OEM replacement arms, I was going to do those until David talked me into trying the radius arms.

Having done that, DT's radius arms will definitely be going into the 3rd gen I replace this truck with, along with Sage Carli's shocks and springs. The radius arms just rock, but I'm not sure if David @ DT has got the frame bracket yet for the 3rd gen hydroformed frame.

Sage just finished his control arms....they pretty sweet. Chromoly with uniball type joints Gauranteed to out-perform any control arm out there (except maybe my RA's) at a fraction of the price of KORE's super duper billet arms.

Don Thuren is coming out with some CA's soon too, so keep an eye out for them.

Some great stuff coming out......
