What is the best street take-off? A 2nd gear or 3rd gear dump, and at what RPM?

 

2nd gear unless you had, dual disk clutch and line lock and honestly have 600hp-1100tq on a superchips alone and nothing else not even a turbo??? acording to your sig???? then 3rd gear would result in better times..

Save racing for the auto guys or trade up to a 4wd auto

Reading his sig over and over makes it seem like his Clutch is made to handle 600/1100? not sure.

 

2nd gear for sure... Now, I know I'll probably get flack for this, but since I put my ATS arch flow manifold on all that off the line studder I used to have is gone. To each his own, but I'm a believer in this manifold.

 

Hey guys, my signature just tells which clutch I have, the Valair/ceramic/600/100 clutch. I am hoping to make the 400's at the wheel. I am not claiming my motor makes 600 HP. Is ya' crazy? I am too old to smoke crack! But I do enjoy the fruits of alcohol, I must admit.
