Anybody know what sub boxes will fit into a 2006 megacab 2500. I don't have the underfloor storage/fold downs. It is pretty wide open in there. I can't find anyone who is making them yet. I don't want to put them behind the rear seat because they won't recline anymore plus there is great stowage back there. Anybody have any suggestions or pics I would sure appreciate it. If you know what kind of subs also that info. would be great.

Yeah I know, I was looking for something that was already to put in, but can't find anything. I can make one myself or have one custom made but don't really want to pay out the wazzu for the custom box. I know I could probably fit "12s in there easy, but I can be happy with "10s.

 

Ten's will probably sound better (air space). I gave in and got a custom fiberglass box made. It sounds really nice, and looks like it came from the factory.

 

I have a box on order that should be in, in the next few days. It is going to hold 2 10s. I will have to remove my fold flat floors, but I hope it will be worth it. I will let you know what I think of the fit/build quality and sound, I hope to have it all in by the weekend.

 

Yeah I would love to see what people are doing in their trucks but I noticed that both of you have an 03 model and an 05 model. The Megacab is different in the back and under the seat I believe. I would like to see some pics and measurements of the boxes though.

 

Have any of you seen the 40/20/40 rear seats in a Mega Cab yet?
All I have seen is the bench style. I would consider changing out the center seat in the rear to house a sub and amps if possible...when a long bed dually comes out.
Dealer says there are rear seats similar to the fronts but he has not yet seen them either.

go to crutchfeild.com they have loaded or unloaded boxes for single or dual 10'' subs. just type in your year model.they fit under the back seat and looked pretty clean.

 

They don't have anything available yet for the 06 Megacab. I called crutchfield. I could go with a universal box but I want a clean look not something pieced together.

 

I finished building my own box for under the passenger rear seats. I put in two 10" MTX 7000 pros. Should sound pretty good.

 

Ooops ...nevermind, seems the box I ordered is on backorder, might have it in another 2 weeks.

I had to make my own. I wasn't going to wait for a company to make one for under the seat. Alot of places tried to sell me truck boxes for behind the seats, but that is what I bought the Megacab for was to recline the back seats and relax. I wanted them under the seat. I used MTX 7000 thunders single voice coils in a sealed box.
