Count on needing a lift kit man. I just got a set of XD Series Diesel wheels in the 22x11 with 5 inch backspacing. They were into the fenders on my truck while on the lift, and absolutely no weight of the truck on them. Mounted them on a 305/40/22 Toyo Proxes tire which is about 32 inches tall. Tire place said that a truck with the leveling kit would work fine, so I brought my buds mega cab back and he runs 35s on stock wheels. Sure enough the tire was into his fender at about 3/4 of the way turned. I am going with a 6-8 inch lift and 37s in March. I was running an Akuza 22x9.5 wheel with 6.5 backspacing with no problems what so ever. Picks of both wheels are in my user gallery. Search ontheedge, or xd diesel wheels. Those 12s are going to stick out like crazy! Just like mine! Big rims equals big lift in this case.

With that wide of a rim and the small backspacing number those will rub like crazy with a 35" tire. I would think it would still rub with those numbers on a 6" lift a bit. And it will stick out from the body a great deal as well. I am running an 8.5 wide with (something like a 5.17 backspacing) pics are in gallery. I would think about a wheel with more backspacing and a skinnier width.

Ideally our truck like no more than a 9" wide wheel with a BS number close to 6.

why do you want such a wide wheel if you are running 13.50s. Most guys around here run 12 inch wide wheels because they like the lip but the rockstars dont have a lip to them.

i saw some on craigs list locally and wanted to see if people had these/liked them/ had issues with them,
it sounds like it to wide for what i am looking for
thanks guys

what about the 20'' XP Series Rims & 305/55R20 Nitto Terra Grappler tires
the wheels are 10 inches wide and have 4.53 in back spacing
they look like they stick out pretty far on the truck but lthey look good

I will do what I can tonight to mount mine and take a picture to show you what the offset looks like. It will be crazy fender flares won't cover all the rim when I go to 37s. Can't imagine adding an extra inch of rim out there too.
