22 x 11 rims on stock 06 3500
K, Sorry for this, but I really need to know. will a 22 x 11 rim with a 5.06" backspace (-24mm offset) fit on the stock susp? The rubber i'd like to run would be 325 50 r22 (34.8 od)
is this a pipe dream?

No way that would ever work. With 325's, you would need a 9" max width wheel with 5.5"+ of backspacing to keep from rubbing.

Oh well, I kinda felt that it was a pipe dream, but still wanted to ask the community their opinions.
What kind of lift would a guy need for these. 4.5? 6?

I would say a 6" to fit that wide of wheels with 35's. Anything less and you will probably have some rubbing.
