i have a 05 2500 with the bullydog triple set up, afe air intake dual exhaust 5 inch and an auto tranny semi worked.
question is.. i only get 21 max reading for boost even on the crazy eddy setting.... is this correct.. been like this since i set it up a few years ago.. but i am reading guys getting 38 or even 40 on the stock turbo?? what do i have to do to mine to get it to kick up a notch...??
thanks in advance..

ps- what would be a good choice if i wanted to upgrade the turbo.... nothing to crazy its a daily driver.. and is it bolt up to the exhaust and air intake? not looking to change it all again..

I believe the stock 05 gets about 32 psi boost and with any boost fooling about 40. You May have a leak. Check your intercooler and see if it has plastic end caps for a possible leak. For a time somewhere during 05 Dodge tried the plastic end caps vs metal. The plastic caps have been known to leak.

good luck

How are you getting the reading? Outlook, gauges? Do you have a boost fooler installed? I'm guessing you are talking about the Crazy Larry setting. Never heard of Crazy Eddy; maybe it's some kind of secret tune.

If it's on the PMT I've heard of a few of those reading incorrectly.

Dang another 05 with boost problems!!! Man I've seen more threads with 04.5 and 05 (including my own) with boost problems than I care to see. I clamped off the rubber hose leading to the wastegate and cured my problem. Electronic actuator for the wastegate died on mine. I think the boost fooling done by the Edge killed it.

If your getting Outlooks reading, I was showing 24psi and occasionally 28psi. I installed an analog and am actually getting 32psi and as high as 40psi . Even at 10psi from outlook my analog reads 15psi. Boost fooler shows even lower Outlook numbers.
